Q. Why should I switch from my 3 or 5 gallon bottle to the PURELOCK™ system? |
A. PURELOCK™ offers multiple advantages to you that the bottle may lack. First, each full bag is approximately 19 lbs. lighter than a full 5 gallon bottle making it much easier to lift onto your cooler. Second, PURELOCK™ is easier to store than existing large bottles. The bags can be stacked up to 10 high on a rack next to your cooler, or you can store them easily on a shelf in a closet or cabinet. Once you’ve finished each bag, you are able to recycle it or discard it immediately vs. waiting for your empty bottle to be picked up and replaced. Third, there are no deposits and no returns on PURELOCK™ units allowing you to free up your existing funds. Finally, since the PURELOCK™ does not require cleaning after each use like the bottles, they don’t appear worn over time, allowing you to have a cleaner looking, more attractive cooler unit at either your home or your office.

Q. Will the PURELOCK™ bag break if I mishandle it? |
A. PURELOCK™ bags are very durable 100% recyclable FDA approved polyethylene material that DOES NOT include Bisphenol A. We’ve designed them to be able to withstand normal levels of impact such as dropping from 5 feet or less, stacking on a shelf, etc. |
Q. Does the water taste different because it’s packaged in such a thin material? |
A. No, your water’s taste will not be affected by the material of the bag. In fact, since the bag isn’t cleaned with solution like the bottles are, your water may taste even cleaner and fresher than before! |
Q. What do I do if there is water in the converter when I remove the bag? |
A. It is not a problem if water builds up in your converter, though this is not intended. First, ensure you are properly placing the bag into the converter by watching the video. Second, make sure no one is lifting up the bag once it’s been placed in the converter-this will cause water to build up inside. Finally, if there is just a bit of water in the converter, simply wipe it out with a paper towel. This will also help ensure you’re keeping your unit clean over time |
